Standard station with minimal facilities. Good to go from here to Leiden and The Hague.

Nice place, scooter places (for chain lock) and private bicycle sheds. Also easily accessible for immobile people

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een loopbrug over het spoor vanaf de parkeergarage naar het andere spoor zou ideaal zijn. Nu moet je enorm om lopen! Tevens zou er een Kiosk moeten komen.
A walkway across the track from the parking garage to the other track would be ideal. Now you have to walk around! There should also be a Kiosk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een grote parkeer garage maar er was heel vaak geen plek. Dat was balen want in de buurt is niet zo gauw iets. Nu wat rustiger geworden tijdens de corona.
A large parking garage but very often there was no space. That was a shame because there is not much in the area. Now a little calmer during the corona.

Dupa ce am cumparat un bilet de tren din gara Sassenheim spre Leiden Centraal am constatat ca toate trenurile sunt anulate si trebuie sa calatorim cu un autobuz pus special la dispozitie de catre NS...erau acolo si 2 persoane care banuiesc ca trebuiau sa redirectioneze lumea spre acele autobuze, insa stateau plantati ca 2 pari de rosii sau in termeni populari ca "2 pociumpi" si nu ziceau nimic....sa va fie rusine! ☹️☹️☹️ Because the Sassenheim Leiden train routes were canceled and a bus was provided, the 2 people on the platform had to direct the world to the bus but they didn't say anything ... shame NS.☹️☹️☹️
Today I had one of the most unpleasant experiences here in the Netherlands. After I bought a train ticket from Sassenheim to Leiden Centraal I found out that all trains are canceled and we have to travel by bus specially provided by the NS ... there were 2 people there who thought they had to redirect the world to those buses, but they were planted like 2 pairs of tomatoes or in popular terms like "2 pociumpi" and they didn't say anything ... it would be shameful! ☹️☹️☹️ Because the Sassenheim Leiden train routes were canceled and a bus was provided, the 2 people on the platform had to direct the world to the bus but they didn't say anything ... shame NS.☹️☹️☹️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goed bereikbaar, voldoende parkeerplaatsen. Voldoende fietsenstalling. Redelijk onderhouden.
McDrive ernaast.
Verder kaal en in weer en wind. Dat kan nog wel eens onaangenaam wachten zijn.
Easily accessible, plenty of parking spaces. Sufficient bicycle storage. Reasonably maintained.
McDrive next door.
Also bare and in wind and weather. That can be an unpleasant wait.
