★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sourh side has a good conection with the central station down town Amsterdam. It is very clean, not over croweded and simple to buy a ticket for a foreighners. I would recommend it during the vacation here because the Parking is here very ecpensive. 4 euro for one hour or 30 Euro for a day. And the Traffic is totally haotic even normal People drive here crazy, without a Signals and hoping from right to left. Book a hotel near metro and you have a problem less here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Subway station for metro Noord-Zuid line. Easy to access from multiple entrances. There are up and down escalators at each entrance and an elevator from the first floor underground. But no shops to buy food nor an information desk.
