Dit beeld van Pincoffs, gemaakt door kunstenaar Willem Verbon, staat met zijn bronzen voeten op de grond. Geen verheerlijking. En dat heeft alles te maken met zijn verleden als visionair én fraudeur.
 Beautifully made statue of a colorful Rotterdam harbor baron, businessman and politician at the end of the 19th century. Sculpture has no pedestal. This statue of Pincoffs, made by artist Willem Verbon, stands with its bronze feet on the ground. No glorification. And that has everything to do with his past as a visionary and a fraud.
