★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Emptepol is de bekendste Westervoortse steenfabriek omdat hij tot vrij recent in gebruik is geweest en nog altijd goed zichtbaar aanwezig is in het landschap naast de IJsselbrug van de snelweg A12.
 The Emptepol is the most famous Westervoort brick factory because it was in use until quite recently and is still clearly visible in the landscape next to the IJssel bridge of the A12 motorway.
