 Beautiful piece of nature with limestone excavation and finds of very old dino skeletons in the museum.

Super nice interesting place can chop and eat for hours. But also very nice when the quarry theater is active in the quarry. See some photos

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Steengroeve op moment van bezoek nog niet open voor bezoek. We kwamen voor de Oehoe die in de oude groeve nestelt.
Quarry not yet open for visit at time of visit. We came for the Eagle Owl nesting in the old quarry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2de pinksterdag 2020 was het hartstikke druk.iedereen is blij dat ze weer even naar buiten kunnen nu er corona heerst. Ook erg veel Duitsers. Het enorme gat maakt grote indruk vooral op (kleine) kinderen. Bij de stilte muur was het vooral druk omdat de oehoe aan het nestelen is.
The second day of Pentecost 2020 was very busy. Everyone is happy that they can go outside again now that corona is prevalent. Also a lot of Germans. The huge hole makes a big impression especially on (small) children. It was especially busy at the silence wall because the eagle owl is nesting.

Special to see a quarry in our own country where limestone is extracted that is 250 million years old!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 sterren voor de mogelijkheden deze groeve te bekijken. Minder mooi in landschap zo'n uitgegraven stuk land.
5 stars for the opportunities to view this quarry. Less beautiful in landscape such an excavated piece of land.
