Een komische ervaring aan overgehouden. Overigens een mooie afsluiting met de Vliehors Express. Did not know in advance that we had to make a reservation. We were allowed to come anyway. However, they could not pin, but can arrange nicely with fellow travelers. A comic experience left over. Incidentally, a nice conclusion with the Vliehors Express.
H	Hagen G. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolle Fahrt zu den Robben. Die Fahrt hat sich voll gelohnt. Uns wurde einiges zu den Robben erklärt und wir kamen sehr nah an die Robben heran. Ferngläser sind auf dem Boot vorhanden und werden verteilt. Great trip to the seals. The drive was fully worth it. We were told some of the seals and we came very close to the seals. Binoculars are available on the boat and are distributed.

Meerdere zeehonden bij de steiger op Vlie. De tocht met de Vliehors express is een ervaring apart. Waar menig voertuig vast loopt ploegt deze wagen rustig door. Het drenkelingenhuisje konden we onderweg nog even bekijken. Alle betrokkenen, dank voor deze fantastische dag! What a fantastic experience today! A day trip from Texel to Vlieland is highly recommended. The crossing was a bit boisterous but fun! Several seals at the jetty on Vlie. The trip with the Vliehors express is an experience apart. Where many vehicles get stuck, this car plows on quietly. We could take a look at the drowning house on the way. Thanks to everyone involved for this fantastic day!
G	Gas Work on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir warem mit unseren Reiserad mit Kind im Sommer 2018 hier übergesetzt. Es ist eine besondere Überfahrt mit dem relativ kleine Boot und der LKW-Fahrt über die lange "Sandzunge" von Vlieland. Es ist zwar etwas teuer im Vergleich zu einer normalen Fähre aber ein Erlebnis. Das Schaukeln des Bootes ist ein Gaudi für die Kinder und das Fahren auf dem (für Passagiere umgebauten) LKW-Ladefläche macht man wirklich nicht so häufig im Leben mit. Wichtig ist das man möglichst vorher anruft, dass man mitfahren möchte, da der verfügbare Platz limitiert ist. We crossed here with our touring bike with child in summer 2018. It is a special crossing with the relatively small boat and the truck ride over the long "tongue of sand" of Vlieland. It is a bit expensive compared to a normal ferry but an experience. The rocking of the boat is fun for the children and driving on the truck bed (converted for passengers) is really not that often in life. It is important that you call in advance if possible that you want to ride, as the available space is limited.

Die riesige Sandbank über die man mit dem Transporter fährt ist einzigartig. Highly recommended is a drive to Vlieland. Very nice and quiet island, because little traffic. The huge sandbank over which you travel by van is unique.

Bei der Robbenfahrt wird das Schiff so lange gedreht bis jeder Profifotograf seine Karte voll hat. Teilweise kommen Robben bis zu Schiff. Ferngläser gibt es kostenlos ausgeliehen. Excellent organization. Very friendly staff. Explanations partly in German with further vacation tips. During the seal ride, the ship is rotated until every professional photographer has his card full. Sometimes seals come to ship. Binoculars can be borrowed free of charge.

It is an enjoyable and educational experience ? sail on the wadden sea to a sandback, where you disembark and walk on the mudflat which is exposed at low-tide, and serves as a feeding place for birds and other animals. We received an interesting explanation on the things we can find in the mud and then went off (alone or following a guide) and using fishing nets and other tools we explored the land! Fantastic!!!
