I am still waiting for a new battery. The call center confirmed that the battery will be replaced and that I will receive a confirmation email that they have ordered a new battery for me as the one I received was damaged. This has not happened yet.

From day one that i met the salesman who came home to show me Stella bikes, i have been cheated. They let me try a bike which costed 2000+ euros. I told them that my budge is less than 1500 euros. So the salesman said no issues we have the same bike with motor of another brand, Everyting is same except u pay 1400 euros. But i would need to wait for 3 months . I said that is too long, so he offers me a bike which could be delivered in 4 weeks, difference is higher battery, so if pay 100 euros extra. I thought ok if i get it earlier, i pay an extra amt. I wait for 4 weeks but i dont hear fr stella. So call them. They say that in their system it has been noted by the sales man that I would call them if my "fiets plan" was approved by my employer. Whereas i had not said anything like this to the salesman. I was paying the full amount from my pocket. So nyways the lady on the phone tells me that the bike that i ordered is not available n i would need to wait for another 4 weeks. BUT if i pay 100 euros extra, i could get a higher battery en then the bike can be delivered the very same week. @#$& Ok so i agree to pay 100 euros AGAIN EXTRA. So i have already paid 200 euros extra. (oh yes i need to mention this too. I exchanged my old bike when i bough this bike. Salesman said i would get 100 euros for it, but on the bill it mentioned that i get only 75 euros . Ok i forget this 25 euro cheating). Ok finally my bike is delivered. They inform me that i need to empty my battery completely 2-3 times before it works optimum. one the 1st day of recieving it, i took the bike for a 25 km ride n back. I stopped at 2 shops picked up something but when i start the bike it would not go on motor. Trying couplu of times by putting off the motor and on, changing geears etc etc, it started and i finally reached home. Batter was empty after approx 60 km ride. I charge battery and go for my next long ride. Same problems. I call Stella and inform them that it is very frustrating to rid this bike as i cannot totally trust if it would start immediately or not. I told i want a replacement. LAdy asks me how much distance have i rode with the bike. I say approx 100 km. The lady says oh have ridden the bike a lot n so it is not possible to exchange, I say but that is what you recommended that i ride and empty the battery before i recharge it, that is the reason i have gone on the long rides. Oh yes i understand , says the lady. Here i need to mention another most important requirement of mine. When i rode the test bike, it showed me the speed at which i was riding and the kms I rode. But the bike I got does not display this. This was totally not informed to me. So I have paid extra for higher batteries (200 euros) but there is no way i can cross check it. They sent a person to "repair" my new bike. Of course they have the audacity to say , it is free of charge that we are repairing this bike. Ok so after the 1st repair, i still have the issue that the bike does not go on motor everythime. The frequency of this error has surely reduced. Next week they are again sending another person to repair my " new bike" again. This is total cheating. My basic demands for an bike were : a) a display which shows my speed and distance travelled. b) A cycle that i sit on paddle away with a motor that starts everytime is paddle. c) a good speed (24-25km p/hr) . This bike i m sure rides at less that 20 km /hr. ofcourse i cannot confirm it as the display does not show me that speed. d) the battery should let me cycle atleast 150-180 km before i need to recharge it. I cannot confirm this again as my display does not show me the disctance. But als per my experience, i cover approx 60km and I need to recharge my bike. I am totally unhappy with this purchase. It gives me only stress. 3 yrs ago i had an ebike for less than 1000 euros (this was unfortunately robbed) which i had purchsed from a shop and I was totally happy with it. I am asking Stella to give me the bike i was promised or give my money back so that I can go buy a new one from somewhere else. Ajitha

I bought a electric bicycle in January this year and it works as expected except few quality issues: 1. I got a bicycle delivered with a bell which did not work. (It was then replaced in first service) 2. Later I came to know that one of the bicycle indicator leg has crack in it. Then I started using it carefully and eventually it broke off after few days. When I contacted customer care about it, they admit that it can be a problem as few customers already reported similar problem and indicator does not fit well on steering (this is what they admitted them selves) and still I was being held for fixing this defect of 150 EURO. In short they admit that it can be one of the problem but then you still have to pay it yourself. So when you decide to buy bicycle, please make sure it does not have any defects when it delivered. And get yourself an insurance as later if its your mistake or company's, it will be you who always have to pay!
