It's always a great experience coming to Stern rent. Though the location of the rental office is more humble compared to the main office. The availability and ease to rent with a good balance of price to car it is a great idea to rent in these times. Great service great care and good staff.

They maybe have premium cars but service is far from it. First day spent 2h and they could not find the car keys. Got a printout of the bill and promise that they will call tomorrow. It did not happen. I had to call the day after to get the minimal price for my car and information that they still do not have keys. They asked of me to make the decision without testing and without even seeing the car from inside. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Bad customerservice experience ..... A few days ago, my wife, son and myself went to check out the new Mercedes EQA for my wife. The sales person that day was great and helped us out very well. He invited us to have a test drive the next day. However, as he was off, another sales rep had been scheduled to help us that day. Due to traffic, I called from my car that we would be 30 min late. Shouldn't be a problem they told us. We arrived, and my wife tested two cars. The gas version, GLA and the electric one: EQA. We decided for the EQA for my wife (fully loaded), and the EQC (fully loaded) for myself. So, we were ready to "make a deal"..... However, when we returned from the testdrive, besides the "tech guy", the person who should help us, didn't even pass by to introduce himself, let alone, do a sale. Probably a combined sale of about 150.000 euro was of no interest for this particular salesperson. After waiting for 15 min, we just left. And we'll just go to our preferred supllier. The issue here is though that Keram in Maastricht only sells BMW.....

Maybe the cars and showrooms are nice. But the back-office leaves a deelt unprofessional impression. Twice I’ve had issues with just scheduling simple things with them. From car service to test drives. If you drive a brand, and pay a premium for service , you expect some professionalism. Every time The Hague and Leiden Mercedez dealers simply outperform and out serve this Stern filiaal. Same brand, clearly not the same company and management.

I wanted to buy a lightly used Mercedes in this place and waited 1 week for the test-drive. The car was very badly painted from the all (!) the sides, except the roof. In some places with putty underneath. The door arches have been crumpled after an accident and very badly restored. The steering wheel was disassembled (probably to replace the air-bags) and not properly restored. The safety belt was covered with mold and it's holder was completely rusted (probably after the big traffic accident). The interior of the car was in terrible condition. That people just wasted 1 week of my time for nothing (a lot of paper work to make it happen) and even didn't answer to my concerns regarding that situation. The level of service is terrible. The car was totally destroyed and they knew it, but didn't tell in advance. The last day before my test-drive the manager (Lars Eijben) called me and told that another manager will give me the keys and he don't know anything about this car (of course). I don't think that that place should be called "Official Mercedes-Benz Dealer".

Stern has definitely improved on services. Had to repair a sensor under warranty, took less than a day. Brought the Vito in the morning, got it back in the afternoon. Camera: Motorola Moto Edge 20 by Lenovo
