Gastheren en -dames , waarvan sommigen oudmedewerker van de DRU vertellen u van alles over de geschiedenis van de roemruchte DRU , in 1754 de 2e hoogoven van Nederland. Het gastenboek verhaald van bezoekers van zelfs ver buiten de regio zoals Azie, Amerika, Afrika en zelfs Rusland. Ook voor gezinnen met kinderen een echte aanrader, ze kunnen oa een eigen naamplaatje maken, regelmatig geeft de smid interactieve demo's. Sluit je dag af in grand cafe 'het Schaftlokaal"
The Dutch Iron Museum (Nijm) is located at 32 Hutteweg in Ulft on the beautiful industrial heritage of the DRU Iron Foundries, now called DRU Industrial Park. Hosts and ladies, some of whom are former employees of the DRU, tell you all about the history of the illustrious DRU, the second blast furnace in the Netherlands in 1754. The guestbook is told from visitors from even far outside the region, such as Asia, America, Africa and even Russia. Also highly recommended for families with children, they can make their own nameplate, the blacksmith regularly gives interactive demos. End your day in the grand cafe "Het Schaftlokaal"
