About Stichting Militair Historisch Museum
Het museum heeft een uitgebreide collectie van uniformen, wapens, munitie en gebruiksvoorwerpen uit de periode 1940-1945. Het streven is om zo veel mogelijk materiële en immateriële herinneringen, zoals getuigenissen en verhalen uit onze gemeente, voor ons museum te verzamelen en ten toon te stellen. Daarnaast beschikt het museum ook over een aantal voertuigen en geschut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuk en particulier oorlogsmuseum over 2e wereldoorlog en de omgeving va Achtmaal en Zundert. Zeer leuke collectie met verzamelde materialen. Uiters enthousiaste gids (vrijwilliger) die het bezoek levendig maakt door de verhalen uit die buurt. Er wordt nog uitgebreid met informatie over de luchtoorlog en de gebruikte vliegtuigen aan beide zijden. Er is een restant van een in de buurt neergestortte Lancaster te zien evenals vele handwapens en mitrailleurs. Voor een informatieve middag heel geschikt.
Nice and private war museum about the 2nd World War and the surroundings of Achtmaal and Zundert. Very nice collection with collected materials. Extremely enthusiastic guide (volunteer) who makes the visit lively through the stories from that neighborhood. It will be expanded with information about the air war and the aircraft used on both sides. There is a remnant of a Lancaster that crashed nearby as well as many sidearms and machine guns. Very suitable for an informative afternoon.
