★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De schuiten liggen er werkelijk prachtig bij. Ze zijn van hout en sommige een eeuw oud. De mannen waren van staal.
 The boats are really beautiful. They are made of wood and some are a century old. The men were made of steel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The foundation Skuut 60 brings together a group of dedicated craftsmen and volunteers who want to keep a part of Wieringens history alive by maintaining and sailing the Skuut 60 and Wieringen 4 boats. Every Thursday 7pm the boats depart for a 3 hour trip on the Waddenzee. If you are on time you can ask to accompany one of the boats for a small donation in their tip jar.
