Prachtige organisatie die zich inzet voor noodhulp in kansarme gebieden wereldwijd

Door werkzaamheden was ik aanwezig in dit gebouw. Qua bedrijfsdoelstellingen kan ik geen mening geven. Maar het gebouw zag er netjes uit met vriendelijke mensen.

Ik krijg regelmatig post van ZOA nadat ik ooit 5 EUR had gedoneerd, dus die 5 EUR is dus nu alleen naar direct marketing brieven aan mijn adres gespendeerd, lekker is dat, nou dat was niet mijn bedoeling. Het komt op mij opdringerig over telkens deze brieven per post. Daarnaast vind ik het niet nodig dat een goede doelen organisatie die de armen helpt per se religieus is, want voor mij is iedereen gelijk.

Ik loop vanuit mijn studie bedrijfskunde nu al een aantal maanden stage bij ZOA en ik kan je vertellen dat het een onwijs gave organisatie is! Hulporganisaties komen niet altijd positief in het nieuws, maar na mijn stage durf ik gerust geld te geven aan organisaties zoals ZOA. Je geld wordt goed besteed!

ZOA is an International Organization based on Netherlands, offers help, hope and recovery to disaster and conflict victims. Because we are active in the areas themselves, we know what people need. First we focus on primary needs, such as food, drink and shelter. Work, education and infrastructure will follow later. We focus on both emergency aid and reconstruction. In a world full of conflicts, injustice, poverty and disasters, ZOA contributes to hope and recovery. We do this by committed to help, hope and recovery for people who fall victim to a natural disaster or armed conflict. We offer emergency assistance and also work with the local community on reconstruction. In this way we work together to ensure that people can independently provide for themselves. The Christian faith is our motivation. A disaster happens to you. Just like a conflict. you cannot do anything about it, and yet you are affected. Fear and sorrow prevail. Shelter, food and drink are a concern every day. When will everything be as it once was? We do the reconstruction together with the local population. For example, they will work as a program officer, security guard or teacher. We also involve governments, churches and banks in our work. This is how the solution comes from within. And we realize a stable basis for the future. In total, our organization has more than eight hundred employees. These are mainly people from the disaster and conflict areas themselves in Afghanistan, Burundi, Colombia, Congo, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iraq, Yemen, Liberia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, South Sudan. We have permanent teams at the head office and country offices. In addition, we are supported by thousands of volunteers. Together we are committed to help, hope and recovery in disaster and conflict areas. So that everything will be as it once was. And maybe even better.
