★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr gepflegte, sehr enge Haupt-Einkaufsstraße in Maastrichts historischem Stokstraatkwartier. Fußgängerzone. Sehr schöne alte Häuser umgeben die Straße, nichts wirkt zerfallen, sondern alles wirklich topp in Schuss. Viele Häuser sind reich verziert.
Man liest oft, dass hier viele Luxusgeschäfte sein sollen. Was Shoppen angeht, fand ich Maastricht generell etwas langweilig, dafür aber von historischem Wert wirklich spitze. Ja, Liu Jo oder Paul & Shark und wenige andere sind hier, aber das war es dann auch schon.
Very well-kept, very narrow main shopping street in Maastricht's historic Stokstraatkwartier. Pedestrian zone. Very nice old houses surround the street, nothing looks disintegrated, everything is really in top condition. Many houses are richly decorated.
One often reads that there are supposed to be many luxury shops here. When it comes to shopping, I found Maastricht a bit boring in general, but really great from a historical point of view. Yes, Liu Jo or Paul & Shark and a few others are here, but that's about it.
