★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For whatever reason the Dutch GGD set up a national vaccination location at this tiny adorable place with tiny roads. The locals (including their dogs) looked quite shocked by the crowds and the cars parked and driving everywhere at all unfitting places.
I really want to check this place out another time when the covid madness is over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful lakeside + Beach. Perfect for swimming, kite/windsurfing, birdwatching, hiking or just chilling. The water is within the first 50meters pretty shallow, approx 40cm deep. There's also a small marina with a cafe. The lake is connected to Amsterdam IJburg, Durgerdam etc. So with a small boat or surfgear you could get everywhere you want!
