★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Beach Club in Zandvoort and recently completely renovated.
Great service, good food and very child friendly as they have a big play garden for the kids.
For me personally, the best outdoor office you can find in Zandvoort. Always when being in Zandvoort, I am visiting Thalassa.
If you think of going for dinner, I recommend you to reserve as it is mostly full during the evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ B E A U Tiful.. food, location and service. Even though it was a crowded sunday late lunch time, the food was served preety fast. The pilsner from the tab was beautiful. Fresh fish( baked Sol), french fish soup were yummmy... This is a noisy place but the staff will make sure you feel at ease... One of the staff member also bump into a list kid, and offered him ice-cream, informed the police, sat with him all the time untill the parents arrived, informed the police back. It's a bit expensive but it's worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very high standard of food for a beach club. Fantastic fish dishes and good wines. Especially the sole is mouthwatering. Service is friendly and quick. Views are great, terrace comfortable and some outside tables have heaters build in. The inside looks very gezellig and had good atmosphere One of the best beach bars in the area. Pricy though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sometimes it's just a matter of the right time and the right place. The right time being the moment that day that I felt good after a walk along the beach after work.
The right place being in the possession of a nice situated table (outside) with a comfy chair and a nice waiter who had time for a little chat with me. The interior looked nice. The view wasn't unique (there are lots more establishments with that view) but looking at the beach and the sea always makes me happy. I only had a drink so no idea how the food is.
The toilet was clean
What more to say? All boxes were ticked so all stars will be filled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience tonight was a bit of a let down. The staff seems to be a hit and miss as well as the meals. The fish soup had 2 prawns in it and a couple of fish flakes - no exaggeration. Overall, the food wasn't very tasty, but okay. The service didn't go beyond very basic formalities.
I've overheard a couple saying that the veal burger was tasty and to be fair our oysters were great.
If you're a bit of a foodie I'd say don't go to Thalassa - there a plenty of great food options to chose from in Zandvoort. The two stars are for the ambiente and open kitchen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It took 2 hours of biking from Amsterdam until I reached there. It was very cold, and due to COVID restrictions everywhere was closed. I couldn't find even somewhere providing take away food. But was a really great experience. Definitely will try going to more far places by bike.
