A	Anna Christina Rau on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you very much to Dirk and his team for a once-in-a-lifetime barbecue beach party!  My husband and I booked the Zand Bar this summer for a party of 40 adults and 35 kids to celebrate our 40. birthday. We had a wonderful and delicious Barbecue buffet with many vegetarian options. Due to very stormy weather we had to move the party indoors, which in the end was really great as everyone stuck together and we had an unbelievable view of the sea. Even though we booked and arranged everything from Germany by e-mail and phone, Dirk was very organized and accommodating with many good suggestions how to make our party just wonderful. Every single guest was very happy and is still talking today a couple of month after the party about the great time we all had in Katwijk and Zand bar. Thank you!!!

The food did not come out at the same time, so some of us were finished before others were served. The Sangria was not good, but it’s presentation was pretty. We ordered mayo and ketchup and was charge 4€! I ordered a beer that never came. For as much money as we spent there I hope for a better experience, and wouldn’t go back.

So you get tap water when ordering coffee or tea but you don’t when you order a different drink..
