About STUDIO ALBLAS
STUDIO ALBLAS was founded in 2020 by the Dutch architect and designer Rogier Alblas. He is a qualified and registered (RIBA, ARB and SBA) (interior) architect who lived and worked in London (UK) for the last 8+ years. During this period (2012 – 2020), he worked for two international (London based) architectural firms consecutively on various award-winning projects.
Rogier’s latest project, as a project architect at BDG architecture + design, relates to the successful renovation and transformation of Amsteldok (former Rivierstaete) in Amsterdam, which is an award-winning project. The 20.000 sqm office building includes a grand reception, cafes, restaurant, sky bar and a client business lounge. Rogier has led this project from sketch to completion during the last 3 years. The entire building meets BREEAM certification standards Very Good, an exceptional score for a renovation project.
He is very passionate about architecture, art and furniture.
