About Studio Expat
In 2013 I started my own company teaching Dutch, one day a student of mine asked me to help with the yearly income tax declaration. Being the daughter of entrepreneurs and the fact that I studied law, gave me the tools to offer this kind of help. I noticed that expats do not always get the same treatment as locals, and I decided I wanted to offer help on such matters in an honest and transparent way. I took several courses and became a bookkeeper.
Since 2015 I am officially registered at the Chamber of Commerce and have a so called ‘Beconnummer’ for tax consultants registered with the Dutch Tax Authority.
In the beginning I could handle all the requests from our clients myself, but after a few years I realized I needed to expand the team. By now we are a team of 6, of which I am really proud.
My role is Tax Advisor and therefore I am responsible for the consultations (appointments), the preparation of the Income Tax Declarations and I am supporting the rest of the Team if they need me.

She and her team quickly understood my needs and answered many questions I had when I was opening my software consultancy, and are now taking care of my bookkeeping and tax declarations so I can focus on my customers instead of researching laws and regulations.
They are efficient and professional, most day-to-day stuff gets resolved quickly over e-mail and their prices are very reasonable.
