About Sunshine Lunch & Lounge

Wat Sunshine, het enige reiscafé in Nederland, in de eerste plaats uniek maakt, zijn natuurlijk de wereldse lunchgerechtjes en drankjes. Deze bereiden wij vers in onze open keuken – transparantie en nauw contact met de gasten vinden wij namelijk heel gewoon, maar geef tijdens je bezoek aan Sunshine ook je ogen goed de kost. Ook de aankleding van de lunchroom en de laid-back sfeer zijn een belevenis op zich.

Onze aanpak is kleinschalig, persoonlijk en soms net even anders dan anders en daar zijn wij dan ook trots op. Zo hebben wij bij Sunshine bijvoorbeeld een no-waste policy. Wij weigeren om mee te doen aan de massaconsumptie en het weggooien van eten, wat helaas nog altijd heel normaal is in de horeca. Check ons menu en lees hoe wij verspilling tegengaan. Onze producten kopen wij zoveel mogelijk lokaal. En wist je bijvoorbeeld ook dat ons interieur voor meer dan 90% uit gerecycled materiaal en spulletjes is opgetrokken? Wij geloven in een duurzame aanpak en een gezonde dosis creativiteit, waarmee je uiteindelijk zoveel moois kunt bereiken.

Good sits, with different kind of chairs, tables and sofas. Food comes from all over the world, and the same applies for the drinks. Ask for the special dishes of the day, we were really happy with everything!

I enjoyed my meal very much and the staff are so friendly and approachable. I am also very pleased with how environmentally friendly they were with the cutlery. I already can't wait to go back. Oh, and if you get ANYTHING, you MUST get the Popcorn Latte! It was exactly what I needed this afternoon and will definitely have have coming back in the future.
