★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally recommend Swapfiets to all! Great bikes and services. Receiving my bike was extremely professional. Today I had an issue with my front tyre far away from my house, and it was almost closing time, yet the guy at the service centre was super kind to find someone and Stijn came within half an hour who got me a new bike itself. Really happy with them, and keep staying awesome guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought I will only pay 17 euro per month for the bicycle but in the end for 2 months I paid more than 64 Euro! I didn't know about the administration fee and also when I gave the bicycle to them they charged me 17 Euro without asking it!
But the service is good, they are always Caring about the bicycle.

They are still withdrawing money from my card?! İt's been more then 1.5 month I left Amsterdam.
Stop using my card, this is a crime!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience. No transparency at all on their charging system. They charge what they want when they want. They charge unreasonable fees when a problem with the payment with no explanations or evidence. I’m an extremely unsatisfied customer and I read that many others are in the same situation as me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always trouble with log in to my account since I rented my first bike in Germany, couln't be swapped into a Dutch account. Everytime I called them, bc they didn't call me back eventhough they promised, there was someone else on the line never knowing what was going on.
Got 2 times random fines about 1) not showing up at my Swap. Although it was them being at the wrong adress, so they had to withdrawl that fine 2) They accused me of wrecking my bike on purpose.. Why on earth would I do that?!?! I couldn't prove that I didn't do it on purpose, so they did not withdrawl that fine. Working students at swapfiets are nice, their internal policies and technical infrastructure absolutely rubbish

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The whole concept of bike subscription is great. However, I'm forced to give only 3 stars for ridiculously diffult to reach customer service. Don't try to contact them through whatsapp. It's very likely that the won't even answer. Maybe call them? Yes, but if you have spare minimum of 30minutes of waiting time to be connected. Also the application is poorly made. I cannot order a swap. The Idea of swapfiets is to have a great customer service which takes care of your bike. Here Swapfiets fails...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Swapfiets is going down, big time... I used it for the first time in 2019 when I was living in Maastricht and was impressed by their service (everyone super nice, super reactive when you have a problem with your bike etc... the promise was impressively well held).
2 years later, after moving to Amsterdam, I blindly decided to go again for them, and what a mistake ! Long waiting before you get your bike, and no easy way to contact them when something happens to the bike (I have had a non-functioning ring for 2 months).
On top of that, I've had a terrible experience recently. After providing all my payment infos (the same as for my other subscriptions, which work perfectly with other companies), I received a series of emails in a very short notice (seems like contactibility works only one way), adding a 60 euro fee to my subscription, outrageous ! After multiple exchanges with them and wasted time, the best i got was: "we don't care about your negative experience, we have enough happy customers, so feel free to cancel your subscription".
So this is a call to all the bad-treated customers of Swapfiets: MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD AND MAKE THESE GUYS RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ran over a nail and my back tire went flat. I was able to make an appointment in the next half hour at the nearest swap shop near me. My bike was immediately replaced. Super easy and awesome. Thanks a bunch.
