+ delicious, creative/original dishes, with many different elegant flavours on the plate, great use of textures and contrasts between textures
+ staff talks openly about recipe of dessert when asked
+ great chocolate mousse
+ quality alcohol-free beer
+ exactly right portion size; hungry man is very satisfied but not bloated after starter, main and dessert.
- long waiting time before serving of next course, while cook is eating in open kitchen
- sweetness of sweet potato main course is not enough balanced by sour condiments
- staff could check more frequently if guests need anything

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed my meal at Symbiose with our family. Every course was delicious and Vegan and Gluten free options were readily available if needed. I understand that the menu changes regularly and we found us visitors could order in English. Would definitely recommend to all vegetarians.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place went straight to our go-to-list after the first visit. Creative and nuanced dishes that still pick you up like only comfort food can! Take-away with no hastle, very professional.
Quality at this level for this price is a big win, portion size is very decent too. Looking forward to eating on the cozy location when the pandemic is gone. Very charming neighbourhood for a walk before or after dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent my husband’s birthday here, because looking at the prices and reviews it seemed to be a good place for having a nice, possibly special dinner. Unfortunately it didn’t impress.
The dishes were quite disappointing, the ingredient combinations were a bit weird and didn’t make sense to us. Also we were sitting at a very uncomfortable table in the middle of the room (and I did make a reservation), every time the waiter passed (which was all the time) my chair was shaking because of the very loose wooden floor. I found that quite annoying. The prices are not justified.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a delicious meal at Symbiose last week with my family and would recommend to anyone wanting a good meal within Den Haag. The atmosphere was quiet and cosy, with the kitchening opening into the dining area. The menu offered a variety of options, all vegetarian (with vegan and gluten free options readily avaliable) and changes so each visit will have new dishes on offer.
Although not the cheapest around it was worth the price paid and we happily stayed for desert ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was so good ! We spent a great time, the service and the food was excellent. We recommend it at 100%.
We had a choice between 2 menus. It's hard to pick one because the both seems so appetizing.
My husband took the first menu with 5 courses + wines and I took the second menu with 3 courses, and it was so delicious.
We will definitely come back !
