★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kleine synagoge. Goede uitleg, fijn dat het bewaard is gebleven. Tentoonstelling met mooie beeldjes ter herdenking aan 75 jaar bevrijding. Op donderdag geopend voor publiek.
 Small synagogue. Good explanation, nice that it has been preserved. Exhibition with beautiful statues commemorating 75 years of liberation. Open to the public on Thursdays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een kleine, maar mooie synagoge in het centrum van Aalten. Helaas is de synagoge niet meer in gebruik. Wel kunnen bezoekers een aantal dagen per week terecht. Niet duidelijk is aangegeven dat een bezoek 2 euro kost.
De synagoge bestaat uit een gedeelte beneden en een galerij voor vrouwen. Achterin bevindt zich een mikveh, een ritueel reinigingsbad.
In de synagoge worden kleine wisselexposities georganiseerd.
Verschillende vrijwilligers vertellen de bezoekers over de synagoge en het Jodendom.
Een bezoek aan de synagoge is mooi te combineren met een bezoek aan het nabijgelegen Nationaal Onderduikmuseum.
A small, but beautiful synagogue in the center of Aalten. Unfortunately, the synagogue is no longer in use. However, visitors can visit a few days a week. It is not clearly indicated that a visit costs 2 euros.
The synagogue consists of a downstairs area and a women's gallery. In the back is a mikveh, a ritual cleansing bath.
Small changing exhibitions are organized in the synagogue.
Several volunteers tell visitors about the synagogue and Judaism.
A visit to the synagogue can be nicely combined with a visit to the nearby National Hiding Museum.
