★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've taken courses at a few different language schools in Amsterdam, and TaalBoost is far and away the best quality, and the only one I'll return to. I really like that the pace is fast and they trust the students to work hard - this means you make a lot of progress and get the most value for the time and money you invest. The teachers are knowledgeable and experienced, and the lessons are engaging and dynamic (even over Zoom!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've taken L1 - L4 at TaalBoost and a mixture of the 100% in class, 50% in class, 50% online and 100% online. No matter where I have done the course, the teaching has always been great quality and they use the teaching environment to their advantage (i.e. using break out rooms and online quizzes when online). The courses are a good mix of learning grammar and 'proper' ways of using Dutch, mixed with more informal and spoken Dutch.The earlier courses are more grammar heavy (L1 - 3) but you need this to get a good foundation in the language and I'm thankful for this now I'm getting more fluent. Overall an excellent school and I would definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun and educational courses, great combination of learning from book and through discussions, quizzes and games. Amazing teachers who always make sure everyone has same involvement in conversations and exercises. Non-intensive course was still a bit intensive for me with 5h per week, but was definitely worth it, since the improvement after 6 weeks is apparent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended the A1 course at TaalBoost and it was my best language learning experience so far. I do feel an evolution and it’s amazing how that is possible in such a short time. The teachers are passionate about teaching and Dutch language thus the lessons are really engaging and relevant for foreigners. I will definitely continue learning with TaalBoost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just finished Level 3 with Jeanne and Nicole, and have learnt a lot. Actually I can't believe how much I improved in just 6 weeks, I'm very satisfied with the course, it is super high quality

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a really good experience with TaalBoost so far! Great teacher, good communication, explanations and also good and a fun guy. It was a really good way of learning Dutch with TaalBoost. Looking forward for the next level hopefully.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked this 2 months in advance and the *DAY OF THE FIRST CLASS* they tell me they could not find a teacher, and sorry they cannot accommodate me. Not only did they not inform of this, the only reason I found this out is because I sent an email the morning of the class otherwise I would have biked 20min to a class that is not taking place! I mean the lack of professionalism and totally broken communication is really next level
Considering the commitment of 3 hours x twice a week, I had rescheduled my entire 3 month calendar around this class.
I'm truly confused why this place has such a high rating considering they cannot even find a teacher to run their classes and don't inform their students in advance. I would avoid !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have attended the beginners online course in January and February 2022. The content and the approach are well designed and prepared, with an excellent use of online tools (interactive examples and exercises, homework, speaking and listening exercises, games and communication practice with other participants).
Although the course was a bit intense (as any other language at level A0-A1), thanks to professional and motivational work of two teachers, Michelle and Laura, I really enjoyed learning Dutch. And my colleagues, friends and neighbours in The Netherlands noticed that I have significantly improved my knowledge. The quality of TaalBoost teaching, methodology used, communication and provided materials are very high and I am looking forward to learning more Dutch in this school.
