The food was literally tossed on the table and of course there is the garlic naan which had no garlic at all and was smeared in some sort of ketchup. What a shame. 't Gooi desperately needs a good Indian restaurant, but this can't be it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indian food changes everywhere I go, in the US taste completely different than the one in NL. Havent had a chance to eat in India but this place to me seems to have a more authentic approach, hearty meals with fresh ingredients.
Food & service were super awesome. Our waiter was pretty smiley and kept the service on spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 27 years the Taj Mahal still has the best Indian cuisine in the De Gooi area, ever since my family and I have been customers. The decor may have changed but the way the food is prepared with authentic Indian flavours and spiciness haven't. Family-run and friendly?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most authentic food outside of India. We’re expats from London (north and east!). We are take-away customers and we ask for off-menu items which are adjusted (spice-wise) to our taste. The dine-in menu is adjusted for the ‘local’ palette, my advice is ask for what you like. We’re regulars, and have been enjoying wonderfully cooked food on a weekly basis for 5-years. If something is missed from the order it is deducted next time. Is the food overpriced, no - you-get-what-you-pay-for ?
