You will find nature spots all over Enschede where you can go and forage ingredients that can be used for cooking. With this workshop, you get the chance to go on a small foraging adventure in Abraham Lederboerpark!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap student place for hanging out and different activities. Quite chaotic in the evenings. It can be fun but I didn't like that the guy who's picking up bottles of the tables actually grabs the bottle by its neck, so it is not hygienic at all to have someone putting their bare hands where you drink from the bottle. Pls show them how to check whether the bottle is empty without having to throw my half full beer bottle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tankstation is a wonderful community center with many facets, run by volunteers: it opens its doors on Tuesdays and Thursdays as a vegetarian/vegan restaurant, art gallery, free second hand store, workshop space and music podium to a variety of people. The atmosphere is informal, cosy and there is always something to do! During Open Mic Nights and Jam Sessions, impromptu musical performances are created by visitors to complement the ever-surprising food. Children and dog friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great venue with vegetarian and vegan dinner every Tuesday and Thursday. Open for workshops and art exhibitions. Good ambience, super cheap beer and a give or take space where you can find many useful things for home.
Everybody is welcome and is an excellent option for expats looking to be part of the community in Enschede.
