★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok, maybe frying isn't the healthiest cooking technique... But if you really want to eat fries or fried snacks, Tante Nel is the way to go! The oil used is 100% vegetable and light, giving extra flavour and no digestion troubles, especially to people like me not used to eating fried food. Add to this a grest selection of bottled beer and gin... Top!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s not quite a restaurant nor a typical Dutch “snackbar”, but something in between. Great flavours and high quality ingredients, staff is very friendly (especially the barman).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chips here are good and they are an okay price if you use your rotterdampas. I just don't see why it is better than other snackbars I have been to. It is really nice to sit outside in the sun though and the people are nice. The mayo is good and so are the other options for sauces. It's more of a place you would go with people to sit in the sun with chips and a beer rather than a takeaway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was friendly, Bitterballen were tasty. Fries were disappointing, maybe time in the fryer was just a minute too short.
Will give them another chance when I’m around again - I’m sure they can do better (as the rating suggests).
