★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most things in Amsterdam are within walking distance, but if you have bad knees, you will really have to take public transportation to get here. Amsterdam is blessed with a number of tea houses, and this is an enjoyable one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very lovely shop with very lovely smelling and looking teas, when you haven't poured them with hot water yet. I bought four teas (Notendroom, Choco mania, Sweet dreams and Spicy Rooibos) and only the Spicy Rooibos tea had some taste. In all cases I used at least three tablespoons of tea per cup of tea. Teas can be better used as potpourri. Maybe their green, white and black teas are nice, but the herbals are not recommended by me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not a bar, but a quaint little tea shop place with a not so little selection of tea. Wonderfully homey, you'll more often than not walk out with exactly what you want, even if you didn't know what you want. The people there know their tea and are super friendly.
They unfortunately don't take cash, but that shouldn't ever stop anyone from going to this wonderful place. It is definitely worth the time!
