Ik geef Woburn 4 sterren om de volgende redenen: het is een tennisclub met gravel banen, dat zie je niet meer zoveel in Nederland en als je er van houdt heel fijn spelen. De club is al ouder dan 100 jaar. Het is een familieclub gezellig voor jong en oud. Het is een club die, omdat hij 'swinters gesloten is, zich prima laat combineren met andere sporten die je wilt spelen in de winterperiode. Voor mensen die het hele jaar willen tennissen is dat wel een nadeel. Er wordt door meerdere teams en op behoorlijk niveau competitie gespeeld, maar er zijn ook gezelligheidscompetitie teams. Het is een prachtig gelegen terrein in bosrijke omgeving. Met enige regelmaat zijn er evenementen afgestemd op specifieke doelgroepen binnen de club. De sfeer heeft al 100 jaar een eigen stijl die op haar manier meegegaan is met de tijd. Het leuke van Vught is dat er verschillende tennisclubs zijn met ieder hun eigen sfeer en kenmerken zijn en dus voor elk wat wils.
What good is a 1 star rating without explanation. I give Woburn 4 stars for the following reasons: it is a tennis club with clay courts, you don't see that much in the Netherlands anymore and if you like it very nice to play. The club is over 100 years old. It is a family club fun for young and old. It is a club that, because it is closed in winter, can be easily combined with other sports that you want to play in the winter period. This is a disadvantage for people who want to play tennis all year round. Competition is played by several teams and at a decent level, but there are also fun competition teams. It is a beautifully situated site in a wooded area. There are regular events tailored to specific target groups within the club. The atmosphere has had its own style for 100 years that has kept up with the times. The nice thing about Vught is that there are several tennis clubs, each with their own atmosphere and characteristics, so there is something for everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Banen waren glad op bepaalde punten (we speelden in het najaar en het had van tevoren geregend).
Maar de derde helft was zeker gezellig!
Courts were slippery at certain points (we played in the fall and it had rained beforehand).
But the third half was definitely fun!
