The collection cannot be compared with prestigeous foreign collections, but the exceptional setting with its authentic feel of historical significance is more than just a compensation. It is a pity I cannot publish more pictures, but most got lost. Highly recommended museum!

Not really child-friendly, but a quick browse through the halls and corridors by your adolescent offspring, could turn out to be a cool experience.

I went here with my class and even though we only had an hour or so, that was a very fun hour. 9/10 Definitely recommend

There are a lot of different things to see, dinosaur bones, fossils, stones, paintings and also scientific instruments. What is also very beautiful about the museum is the architecture of the museum itself. We also enjoyed visiting the Teyler house, and reading about Pieter Teyler.
