Niet te veel poespas, maar gewoon wat belangrijk is: goede ruimtes met mooi apparatuur, een kleine bar met Hertog Jan pils, fris en koffie, en heel vriendelijk personeel die alles runnen. Flexibele tijdslots maken deze ruimte des te meer de moeite waard!
Just a nice place to practice. Not too much fuss, but just what's important: good spaces with nice equipment, a small bar with Hertog Jan lager, soda and coffee, and very friendly staff who run everything. Flexible time slots make this space all the more worthwhile!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na een aantal jaren weer eens terug geweest bij The Bends. In de begintijd was alles prima in orde. Mooie ruimte, goede (nieuwe) apparatuur. Nu echter een grote teleurstelling. Vooral qua apparatuur. Die komt niet overeen met hetgeen de website belooft: geen Ampeg basversterker, de PA speakers niet van Peavy maar van the.box (nog nooit zulke slechte speakers gehoord). Tezamen met de bovengemiddelde prijzen van de koffie en drankjes maakt dit voorlopig ons laatste bezoek.
After a few years I went back to The Bends. In the early days everything was fine. Nice space, good (new) equipment. Now, however, a big disappointment. Especially in terms of equipment. That does not match what the website promises: no Ampeg bass amplifier, the PA speakers not from Peavy but from the.box (never heard such bad speakers). Together with the above-average prices of coffee and drinks, this makes our last visit for the time being.
