β β β β β Quaint restaurant located just across the street from the picturesque Hooglandse Kerk in central Leiden. Great atmosphere, both upstairs and downstairs. Soft lighting and traditional wood interior architecture. The internet consensus was to go with the chef's menu, so I chose the 5 course with wine pairing, and was not disappointed. Highlights were fish infused with beetroot, beef cheek ravioli and a rare hanger steak main course. Wine pairings from Argentina, south Rhone Valley, Barbera d'Asti and Negroamaro from Puglia. Finished off the meal with a cheese plate (including an exceptional blue cheese from Utrecht) paired with a white Port wine. Service was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. A truly sublime meal, so kudos to the chef and staff.

β β β β β Another French influenced restaurant where the menu seems like a small variation of any other French influenced restaurant with the Dutch touch. The dishes don't leave a lasting impression and the wine pairing does not pair specially well with the meal. Overall with such a price you would expect something less standard. They are indeed in the Michelin guide (not with the star else the disappointment would be bigger), but it feels like something is lacking.

β β β β β We had a lovely time here. We went for the chefs menu with wine paring and it was amazing. We went for the 7 dishes and we do not regret it how make sure you were hungry ?

β β β β β Great service, amazing food and even better wines paired with the different courses. The attention to detail and consideration of any dietary requirements -with regards to allergies- is impressive.

β β β β β Nice environment, good friendly service. Fancy restaurant, however i found portions extremely small for the price. Good to try for a change.

β β β β β The most incredible fine dining experience I've had all year. Definitely reserve this a week prior!
We had the 4 course meal with paired half glass wines which was the best option as we still got to taste everything and appreciate not having to spend a fortune. The fact we could watch the chefs too made it really special. All the dishes were "wow" quality.
Thank you guys for the amazing work!

β β β β β Nothing but praise for this Michelin star restaurant. This must be one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, if not the best. The atmosphere is great. The staff is very friendly but above all very experienced. They know their cuisine and matching wines. We had the 5 course chef's menu with wine pairing, and each and every course was amazing, worth every cent. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and I'll definitely return.
