★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fabulous antique store in the Oud-West / Kinkerbuurt Amsterdam area. In the De Hollen - a high-end area but the the prices here are not crazy. Such high quality items, I'm surprised more people are not crowding in here.
As I write this review, I'm not sure how this place was open today during the Covid-19 restrictions...but perhaps it's still by appointment only but I wandered into the shop when he was out talking to other people.
It reminded me of somewhat "normal" times when we could walk into a store and look around.
But the quality and prices here look amazing. I am going back for one of those beautiful sailboats! I love them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most adorable little antique store. Wonderful and beautiful instruments, yachts and furniture. Art is a knowledgable and hospitable owner. His prices are fundamentally fair and we bought some beautiful pieces of furniture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to visit Amsterdam for few days with some friends and we came across Barnett Antiques by exploring the city. The beauty of the store caught our attention quickly, and when we entered the owner showed a lot of hospitality. Without hurries, he explained us stories about the store, the antiques and he even gave us some excellent life lessons. We did not buy anything, but we would have loved to do it because the story behind each piece is interesting and beautiful, and it is really worth the prices of this kind of antiques. The passion of the owner with the antiques and its stories, his kind-heart, and the overall experience... I wish him the best with his beautiful store :) Definitely one of the best experiences in a store ever, thank you!
