★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fitting tribute to the city that lost it's heart and built itself up after the Blitz. The view is amazing.
I'd advice travellers to take a water taxi about 5 mins walk from here and take it to Hotel New York. The taxi ride underneath the Erasmus bridge is breathtaking. From the Hotel New York stop go to the brewery nearby called Fenix Food Factory. Enjoy one of the 30+ IPAs sitting next to the docks overlooking the Rotterdam skyline.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dramatic, powerful, and sad. Rotterdam was flattened by the Nazis as the first step in their brutal invasion and occupation of Holland.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful statue,sadly remembering about dark days,when in 14 May 1940 Rotterdam’s medieval city centre was destroyed.
