I live in Den Haag willing to go to Amsterdam to see the products, after being a customer for 3 years and spending alot of money the owner of this place treated me very rude and aa if she was doing me a favour to sell her products. The last time I bought hair extensions in this place I spent around 1,000 euros. Her reason for being rude was that for the first time because I am pregnant I felt sick on the way to Amsterdam and so had to make a stop, I thought i was going to be only 10 min late, when I get a call from the owner of The hair extension Bar yellong at me and complaining because I did not arrive so she asked me not to go anymore. When I tried to explain she would not let me talk and she was careless hanging the phone when I gave her feedback about the customer service she was showing. Last week one of the employees had committed to give me a call to confirm the appointment but they never called. I was not rude to them because of that. I think for the amount of money they charge is not worth the time nor money spend in this place. Totally not recommended.

They fit me in within 1 day and I felt welcome to return if I was unhappy with anything....but I wasn’t the extensions are awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m sorry but I had a very bad experience. I was in doubt of whether I would leave a review or not, but I decided to elaborate on my experience because I STILL struggle with extremely sensitive scalp 1 month later!
I got a hairweave done and also bought hair at this place. To start, the hair is of good quality so far. The hair was installed by first making small braids of my natural hair & waving the extensions on top. This was tight, but the hairdresser assured me that it was ok to feel some tension. However, the tension got worse. It really hurt a lot, and I decided to get rid of it the next day at another hairdresser in my city (i’m not from amsterdam and didnt’t want to travel again). So basically my hairweave was removed within 24hours.
Girls, it is NOT ok to feel constant pulling of the hair!
The hairdresser at the hairextensionbar told me it is like ‘exercise, first it hurts but eventually you will get used to it’; well it isnt! Tight hairweaves can cause hairloss because of traction alopecia: it should NEVER feel tight or even hurt slightly! My scalp was extremely red after removing it and I had bumps all over because of the pulling. The other hairdresser told me that I came just in time to remove it.
