β β β β β Good camp site close to Baarle-Nassau and Baarle-Hertog. I would rather not pay for hot water after already paying to camp, but that is typical of Dutch campsites.

β β β β β Great food, and ultra friendly family who run the place. Good showers, lots of shade around for the pitches. Even got me playing bingo in Dutch in the evening... That's how friendly they are.

β β β β β We stayed here in July 2018 for the first couple of nights of our short Motorbike Tour in northern Europe. We found the site online while planning our 9-night tour, and booked to stay for 2 nights to give us a day off the motorbikes, and a chance to explore the local town. It was easy to reach from the Eurotunnel terminal.
Itβs a family run site, and the current owners took it over in late 2017 I believe, and are working to upgrade the site. So far they have done a marvellous job. The site itself is set within a small area of woodland, and is a mixture of site-owned and private-owned chalets. It is well maintained, very peaceful, and very much a family orientated site. There is plenty for little ones to do, such as the permanent cottage-style bouncy castle, the outside bouncy pillow (which can take adults too as long as you take your shoes off!) and a kids club. Thereβs a sports field where football can be played, and it looked like there were regular events organised, and a few days after our stay a Circus was due to visit.
We received a good welcome on arrival with plenty of site info and how to locate the owners should we need them. The chalet we were in was lovely β modern and absolutely spotless, with a generous sized outside patio which was great for enjoying breakfast or a late supper while watching the wildlife. Plenty of birds from sparrows to woodpeckers, and the bats at dusk were amazing.
The clubhouse is very clean and tidy, with plenty of inside and outside space. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced, and Miriam and Mr Miriam (sorry we forgot your name) were always on hand to chat or answer any silly questions we tourists had about the area etc. We ate there on our first evening, and came away totally stuffed β it was great.
Baarle itself is only a short 20 minute walk away via the roads, and there are other walking or cycle tracks you can take instead to vary things. Itβs a very interesting town where you quite literally cross the border dozens of times simply while wandering round. The Town Hall/Tourist Info has a little museum and info centre inside it which was great to explain why there are so many little enclaves of Belgium within Holland, and picking up the little magazine in English about the area was fantastic as it showed us some of the sights that were within easy walking distance.
We wouldnβt hesitate to stay here again because we really enjoyed our stay on this brilliant site. In fact we are thinking next time of taking the car with the cycles on the back because the area is really well set up with a network of cycle tracks, most of which appear to be traffic-free, and FLAT!

β β β β β Excellent place. Came through cycling and stayed a couple nights extra. Thereβs a large grass camping area separate from the mobile home park. Friendly and helpful staff, clean bathrooms and free WiFi. Highly recommend.

β β β β β This campsite is a true gem! Recently taken over by new management, the effort and love they've poured into the park is evident from the moment you arrive! The pitches are well spaced, with immaculately clean toilet block. The cabins are stunning! We were only looking for somewhere quick for one night, so opted for a Trekkers Hut for us and 2 children. Basic, but beautiful! All we had was 2 sets of bunk beds, a garden furniture set of table and chairs and a built in gas cooker. Getting back to nature and having no TV / electronics was such a refreshing feeling!
The hosts are super friendly, even indulging our little one when he decided everyone needed a daisy!
Will definitely be returning, and definitely for longer!!
