Worth the visit - area in middle of woods with 3 underground huts where approx. 90-100 people used to hide and live during WWII. Make sure you drive or cycle to the site from Vierhouten over Tongerseweg to knooppunt 18 and then right onto Pas Opweg towards "Verscholen Dorp". From Vierhouten the Tongerseweg can be found approx 200 meters passed a snackbar/icecream shop. It wasn't easy to find so it helps following these directions.

An important part of history. Three huts that were built mimicking the style of the Hidden Village that saved so many people in hiding in the second world war. There are information boards nearby to explain what the historical significance is and how the huts were built; I recommend you read those first before visiting and entering the huts.

Re-built bunkers from WWII for Jewish and Dutch people. It took a while to locate it, but was glad when I could find it. It is in a beatiful area accessible by car, bike and by foot.

Beautiful place with memories of the 2nd WW. Jewish refugees who lived in the forest to be safe.

It was an amazing experience, thank you Jannette and the rest of the staff! We stayed at one of the bungalows that was newly renovated. Everything was clean and tidy, we loved the location too! The staff are friendly and answered any query or problem I had about the site and where to visit locally. I would definitely recommend visiting and we will be coming back soon!! Hopelijk tot snel :)
