★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you need to learn how to swim there is no better place in Almere then this pool. Others might be cheaper but don't offer a good educational climate for kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inknownit as a swimming lessons for kids. Very good instructors. Very few kids per instructor. Instructor do look at the kids while practising. Parents can stay on a side of the swimming pool and that give more confidence to the kid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used this swimming pool for my reumatic issues and the organization is extremely bad. Aside from the fact that the pool is small, they give lessons at the same time when there is only ONE HOUR to use it for free swimming and swimming in a line. You are not swimming, you are WALKING most of the time, because 2 lines for around 10 people is just laughable, and on top of that there are small kids swimming across the line every now and then with their teachers. I thought something will be done about it considering how many complaints are there, but no, absolutely nothing changed. There are too many activities fit into such a small pool at the same time, and literally no one is comfortable. The money greed seems real, but so are walking away customers.
I absolutely do not recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son has been going there for 3 years now and still hasn't even got the A diploma.
He has been passed to around 7 different teachers. With every teacher we speak to, we are told that everything is going well and we should not worry. Even when we asked this year if we should give him private lessons, they were certain that he did not need them. Nonetheless we did give him private lessons and saw an improvement, but it seems that he is still not good enough (according to his teacher), to do the A diploma.
I stayed there for this whole period because I had faith that this was the best swim school in Almere and that perhaps it was my son who needed a special boost. It is clear, now that I have more seriously looked at competing swim schools, that this is not the case. The issue is that Het Mineraal is unable to understand and fix whatever is still hindering my son from achieving the prerequisites for a level A diploma.
It might be the nicest looking swim school in Almere, but the whole point is education, and in my book, Het Mineraal gets an F

The coach is very nice.
They change activity each time so kids don't get bored.
They sing songs for the kids
Very nice and very organized place.
Changing rooms is very clean.
Overall very good experience
