β β β β β this penthouse is the worst place i've ever been in my life . Firstly about the sound you are not even allowed to listen to songs , so it is wise to turn off your TV . Because you will be trow out for nothing second, they lie that things have happened that are not right. and let me not talk about the bad reception they were really rude that woman with blond curls should not be there . So I would never come here again in all my lives!

β β β β β Loved this place. Stunning view all round. Restaurant was okay but they make the dishes and bring them out to you. You do not get to choose the only thing you can choose how many courses would you like. The dessert that was to doe for amazing. It was my girlfriends birthday meal and they never made it clear that I could not bring my own cake so that was ruined cause I couldn't cut the cake there so that's why you a 3 star. staff at the restaurant were friendly but could of been more accommodating with the cake policy especially travelled from England for my girlfriend to enjoy her meal and cut there cake and they told us no. The only option was to tell them in advance but as I am from England and the instructions I received were in Dutch there was nowhere or hard for me to find where it said I needed to tell them in advance. Next time I come here I will be renting the apartments and going to the bar one floor down from the restaurant which looked amazing.

β β β β β I had a misfortune of booking a corner apartment on 39th floor recently. The views, of course, are amazing, and the apartment itself, while in need of some improvement, is not bad per se.
What was absolutely unacceptable was the nonexistent soundproofing and the loud party at the bar located one floor higher. It took three calls to reception and one call to bkng dot com support to achieve approximately no change in the volume of music, yelling and stomping noise. Only at about 1 am, when I was about to book a room somewhere else, did the noise subside; I was still able to hear some of it as late as 2:30.
My personal takeaway here? I'm staying away from the hotel. I can always dine at the restaurant again if I miss the view.
For the record, I was offered (and accepted) a 50% refund. Whether your night's sleep is worth 50% discount is up to you to decide.

β β β β β This place is a fancy observatory with a small bar on the 40th floor and a restaurant on the 42nd floor. By 9β¬ you get to take panoramic photos while enjoying a nice drink made by the nicest and most beautiful bartenders in the city. The music at the bar can be too loud and frivolous.

β β β β β We had a difficult choice - to find the right place to celebrate a wedding event of our "kids"( as far as we are alive, they are kids for us :)). We choose The Penthouse, and We are thrilled!!!...
Yes, it is a not 3* Michelin restaurant, but at least, they are higher by ASL altitude :) and willingness to find reasonable solutions for every specific request.
Time erases a lot out of human memory, but we are sure that newly created family will decide to celebrate their gold 50th wedding anniversary again here.
If you have doubts about where to celebrate a wedding event, The Penthouse is a perfect choice.
