★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eigenlijk alles is goed! Denken mee en zoeken naar oplossing om te komen drummen/lessen. Ik heb een visuele beperking(blind) en Gijs en Peter hebben mij goed geholpen om toch te kunnen drummen!! Helaas nu door de Lockdown even niet.......
Maar ik raad iedereen aan als je echt lekker wil drummen/lessen of een plaat opnemen ga dan naar LUDWIG RHYTHM FACTORY!!

Basically everything is good! Thinking along and looking for a solution to come and play drums / lessons. I have a visual impairment (blind) and Gijs and Peter have helped me a lot to be able to play drums !! Unfortunately not now due to the Lockdown .......
But I recommend everyone if you really want to play drums / lessons or record a record then go to LUDWIG RHYTHM FACTORY !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wij repeteren al jaren elke week in The Rhythm Factory met onze band, naar volle tevredenheid. De oefenruimte is zeer ruim (veel ruimer dan in de gemiddelde oefenstudio), comfortabel en uitstekend geïsoleerd. Ruimte om even lekker koffie te drinken is er ook en contact met eigenaar is altijd snel en goed.
We have been rehearsing every week in The Rhythm Factory with our band for years, to our full satisfaction. The rehearsal room is very spacious (much more spacious than in the average rehearsal studio), comfortable and well insulated. There is also room for a nice coffee and contact with the owner is always fast and good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gijs is een ouwe rot in het muziekvak. Dat merk je aan alles! Altijd zin in een praatje, vriendelijk en betrouwbaar.
De oefenruimte is daarnaast ruim opgezet met prima apparatuur en heeft een goede akoestiek. Ik repeteer er al jaren met veel plezier en in verschillende bezettingen, met en zonder blazers.
Gijs is an old hand in the music business. You notice that in everything! Always in the mood for a chat, friendly and reliable.
The rehearsal room is also spacious with good equipment and good acoustics. I have been rehearsing there with great pleasure and in different line-ups, with and without wind section.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gijs is een enorm enthousiaste drum-docent die alle tijd neemt voor zijn leerlingen. Onze Rick ging alle jaren met veel enthousiasme naar zijn drum lessen.
Gijs wisselt theorie goed af met plezier en meedeinen met moderne nummers. Dat werkt aansprekend voor de jeugdige drummer. Hij adviseert graag welke drumsets geschikt zijn en verkoopt dat tegen hele schappelijke prijzen.
Gijs is a very enthusiastic drum teacher who takes all the time for his students. Our Rick went to his drum lessons every year with great enthusiasm.
Gijs alternates between theory with pleasure and along with modern songs. That works appealing to the youthful drummer. He is happy to advise which drum sets are suitable and sells it at very reasonable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hier ben je aan het goede adres om te repeteren zelfs met grote groepen. De altijd goed geluimde Gijs ontvangt je in de gezellige kofferruimte en in de enorme studio kan je uren verblijven.
Spullen zijn altijd in orde. Communicatie gaat altijd helder en optijd!
Aanrader? Zeker! Ik kom hier al jaren met heel veel plezier!
Here you have come to the right place to rehearse even with large groups. Gijs, always in a good mood, receives you in the cozy trunk and you can stay for hours in the enormous studio.
Stuff is always okay. Communication is always clear and on time!
Recommended? Certainly! I have been coming here with great pleasure for years!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wij oefenen wekelijks bij Gijs in de studio met onze band “Profiler” en dat doen we al jaren met veel plezier. Mooie ruimte, goede akoestiek en de apparatuur die er staat voldoet prima.
Gijs zet prima koffie en is flexibel met afzeggingen of extra boekingen voor opnamedagen etc.
Er is eigenlijk maar 1 nadeel: als je bier achterlaat in de koelkast is het de week erna meestal op ??
We practice weekly at Gijs in the studio with our band “Profiler” and we have been doing that for years with great pleasure. Nice space, good acoustics and the equipment that is there is fine.
Gijs makes excellent coffee and is flexible with cancellations or extra bookings for recording days, etc.
There is really only one drawback: if you leave beer in the fridge, it is usually at ?? the following week

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al zo’n 20 jaar volg ik drumlessen bij de Rhythm Factory. Eerst bij Armand van Middendorp en na zijn vertrek bij Peter Doppen. Het is altijd een feest om les te krijgen en altijd in een zeer persoonlijke, deskundige en heel inspirerende en stimulerende sfeer niet alleen techniek te trainen (zeker nu in de Corona tijd met de online lessen) maar ook de inns en outs van drumpartijen van de bekende drummers mee te leren spelen, tips te krijgen, (drum)verhalen te horen, nieuwe muziek te leren kennen, advies te krijgen, een cursus of clinic te volgen. Kortom je hobby helemaal te beleven.
Via de “Factory” ben ik jaren geleden ook in contact gekomen met mijn eerste band waar ik nog steeds in speel. Met mijn andere band repeteer ik ook regelmatig bij Gijs want de oefenruimte is uitermate prettig. Groot en goed voorzien van apparatuur en natuurlijk heel goed bereikbaar.
Kortom een betere drumschool is nauwelijks te vinden, want we hebben het nog niet gehad over de (web)shop. Ook voor aanschaf van de drumspullen van groot tot klein, nieuw of gebruikt, is de Rhythm Factory een prima adres.
Ik teken voor de volgende 20 jaar!
I have been taking drum lessons at the Rhythm Factory for about 20 years. First with Armand van Middendorp and after his departure with Peter Doppen. It is always a joy to be taught and always in a very personal, expert and very inspiring and stimulating atmosphere to not only train technique (especially now in the Corona time with the online lessons) but also the inns and outs of drum parts of the learn to play well-known drummers, get tips, hear (drum) stories, get to know new music, get advice, take a course or clinic. In short, to fully experience your hobby.
Years ago I also came into contact with my first band that I still play in through the “Factory”. With my other band I also regularly rehearse with Gijs because the rehearsal room is very pleasant. Large and well equipped with equipment and of course very easily accessible.
In short, a better drum school is hard to find, because we haven't talked about the (web) shop yet. The Rhythm Factory is also an excellent address for purchasing the drum equipment from large to small, new or used.
I sign for the next 20 years!
