★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik heb Engels (C1/C2) gedaan en volg thans Italiaanse (A2/B1) les en ik ben zeer tevreden. Op maat gesneden programma's, waarbij zowel de inhoud als de vorm en aanpak werden afgestemd. Met humor en enthousiasme word je bij de les gehouden.
I have done English (C1 / C2) and am currently taking Italian (A2 / B1) lessons and I am very satisfied. Tailor-made programs, in which both the content, the form and the approach were coordinated. With humor and enthusiasm you will be kept in class.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took the basic Dutch course offered by The Square Mile. It was EXCELLENT. For various reasons, I missed some classes and fell behind enough that it would have been very easy to quit. Part way through the course, I had an altercation with a car while riding my bike, and sustained some injuries. I also had some work commitments that conflicted with some of the classes. Dutch is not an easy language for this native English speaker, and I had to swim against the current to in order to catch up. My instructor, Trix Golsteijn (a true gem), was very supportive and encouraging, and I managed to make it to the end of the course with my desire to continue learning Dutch completely intact. I now have the ability to figure out a lot of what I read while out on the streets of Amsterdam, and feel much more confident while traveling to smaller towns in The Netherlands. I also try to interact exclusively in Dutch with wait staff and cashiers. I think it says something that the locals don't automatically switch to English on me anymore. Thank you Square Mile!!
