★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having been looking for a rowing bike for some years, after rowing amateur racing boats for many years, I found the Thys website. And with careful consideration eventually bought a Thys carbon rowing bike in 2019. Although the price is really far more than anything I would normally spend, this was for riding to work and so as a "company car" it justified the investment. The bike up to now is simply brilliant and its not really possible to imagine the amount of detail and the quality of the design of such a machine. It is a riding experience like no other and almost addictively fun. I cannot say now what the lifetime of such a bike is but I certainly hope to use it for life, as keen cyclist, rower and cycle tourist.
