Stylish, fast access to beverages, clean toilets, good soundsystem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came a half hour too late il the young gods concert because NO ONE told me to that there is two Paradiso. Call it something else than.
There was a balcony area but they did open it too late. Otherwise there were too crowded.
However the atmosphere was OK but the reason that I came to the Amsterdam was a huge disappointment exactly because of the Paradiso mess. The time distance between those two paradisos is a half hour if your are lucky. I wish I could complain somewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sure looks a lot different from the club I would frequent in 1968 and 69. I sure wonder what happened to Curry and Gary. I wished I would have wrote down the names of the incredible bands I saw then. So many foggy memories.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, intimate venue in a great multi-use space. Good restaurant in the building as well. Sound sometimes can be a bit off. Pin only for drinks. Many good acts come through this venue and easy access from the train station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great venue in an awesome location, but there are a couple of problems. First, the lockers require tokens that can only be gotten from a single vending machine that wouldn't take cash or card, leaving me holding my jacket throughout the show. But even worse, there are 2 stages, and when I entered, I was not directed to either one, and there were no signs indicating who was playing at either stage. I went to the wrong stage, watched the wrong opening act, and ended up missing most of the show I had hoped to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A decent venue located super close to Central Station, just a quick ferry ride across the IJ and you are there. They have lockers for 2€ and serve drinks inside. No complaints any time I've been but nothing extremely special either! You're there for the show anyway!
