★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been taking group Dutch lessons with Thuis in Amsterdam for over a year now. I am amazed at how much my Dutch skills have progressed. Other than the usual grammar and vocabulary I like that the school's philosophy is also to teach us about Dutch culture (everything from slang, songs, tv programs, slang etc...). Huge thank you to the amazing teachers at this school! Highly recommend :)

The courses with both Nadine and Max are highly recommended if you want to quickly and effectively improve your Dutch and have fun while doing it :)

For someone who has never learned a language before I'm amazed by how far I've come on in my time learning with Max. He is always patient and his teaching methods are highly effective, all while making the lessons fun rather than the chore I worried it might become after learning for a couple of years. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a Dutch language school.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I learned in the past year 2 courses with Thuis in Amsterdam and I really enjoyed them!
The groups are up to 5 people and after a short talk with a teacher from the school, I found myself in a group that seemed to be right around my level which I find highly important as much of the practice and first conversations are done with the group peers.
The teacher Max is excellent! Very positive attitude with lots of funny insights and stories about Dutch culture, music and sports.
I feel that I've come a long way with my Dutch and I honestly recommend this school. Another thing that I recommend is to take the physical class over the online one. It's just more fun and engaging :)
