★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found THYM purely by accident. Having arrived Eindhoven on this Sunday morning (for a week of business) I rented a bicycle and peddled about town - and found THYM!! The lobster bisque was pleasant and flavorful; the Club sandwich was fantastic with its sliced egg; and the cappuccino chaser tied it all together. I highly recommend THYM. The staff was non-stop, polite and professional… always finding that moment to ask “is everything ok?”… “can we get you anything else?” Sadly I left without trying the warmed apple pie… next THYM!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was once a smart, well run restaurant, located in a pleasant quiet suburb of Eindhoven. Now, after lockdown, it has a very limited lunch menu. My tasty halibut, about 4cm square, served in a bowl, cost 21 euros. Outrageous. The inexperienced, forgetful waiters, added to our very disappointing lunch experience. The discomfort of not having an adequate umbrella to provide shade for our table, added to our disappointment. It seems that after lockdown, restaurants like this think they can start again and overcharge for their inadequate food, and poor service, and try and recoup their losses. Hopefully commercial competition will cause the good ones to succeed, and the rest go to the wall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After these last few months of lockdown it's been a total joy to finally be out of the house and out of my own limited kitchen. I couldn't have picked a better spot to take my partner to celebrate our freedom with a superb meal, one impossible to fault. Homemade paté with figs done three ways followed by melt-in-your-mouth calf's cheek and capped with a diverse cheese platter. All underscored by the soundtrack of perfectly paired wines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this restaurant as a part of a German delegation with the ministry of commerce during our visit of Brainport.
The atmosphere was elegant and the food was superb. We were served three courses, each with its own nice touch. The portion size was okay, but could have been just a little bit larger.
The waiters were proud to serve us and made a good job keeping our glasses full and helped choosing a nice wine.

The food was great! Good sophisticated food, nice portions and beautiful made up plates.
The service was also good.
Decent price so price quality wise this is a 5 star rating well worth.
