The name Tobian is of English origin and means being fearless, optimistic, and intellectual. Tobian stands for being brave and having an extremely high capacity for knowledge. In addition, it means purity and being genuine in your actions.
The origin of the name is from Tobi island, a small island in Micronesia, where Tobian is the official language. This is where it all started: Tobian Language School was born. A great place to connect different languages and cultures to help you find your passions!

I purchased a package of 20 hours for private Dutch courses, and I was so pleased with the classes that I repurchased the same package today.
Tieme is my tutor. Having classes with Tieme is exactly what I was looking for. He adapts the course to one’s needs and knows where to focus and how. He also speaks almost only Dutch in class (by choice), and this “forces” you to learn how to adapt to situations that you will face in your everyday life. After each one of our lessons, I feel that I am improving. He is also very kind and agreeable as a person. What I also find important is that he can be very flexible when necessary. I highly recommend him to everyone that wants to follow Dutch courses.
Lastly, my communication with Tobias was straightforward and punctual. He responds quickly and assigns you a tutor as fast as possible, in my case, on the same day.

Great value on the lessons and thanks to my allocated Teacher , Anita I have came out of it far more confident and with knowledge to apply the Dutch language. Myself I wish I had learned more words before starting out so for all you new learners, its a great idea to have a good memory bank of basic action/verb words in your head, this will make the lessons a lot easier. I will take further lessons down the road but I thank the school very much for giving me a great start , I would have been unable to get this far without your help.
