★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ja dit mooie Overstappunt verdiend 5 sterren.
Voor mij is het op dit ogenblik van alle Overstappunten die ik heb bezocht de mooiste´.
Prachtig gelegen onder aan de Lekdijk van het mooie dorp, dat ook wel een kleine stad word genoemd, Ameide.
Wat een uitzicht over de rivier de lek, links kijk je tot Schoonhoven en rechts helemaal tot Vianen.
Ga daar maar even rustig zitten en geniet van het landschap en al die passerende schepen. je raakt daar niet uit gekeken en toch moet je verder.
Lees maar even de informatie panelen en..... er wacht je een mooie dag door het landschap van de Alblasserwaard en de Vijfheerenlanden.
En besluit je met het veer naar de overkant te gaan, dan wacht daar de Lopikerwaard die al even mooi is.

 Yes this beautiful Transfer Point deserves 5 stars.
For me it is currently the most beautiful of all Transfer Points that I have visited.
Beautifully situated at the bottom of the Lekdijk of the beautiful village, which is also called a small town, Ameide.
What a view over the river Lek, on the left you look to Schoonhoven and on the right all the way to Vianen.
Just sit there quietly and enjoy the scenery and all those passing ships. you don't get tired of it and yet you have to continue.
Just read the information panels and ..... a beautiful day awaits you through the landscape of the Alblasserwaard and the Vijfheerenlanden.
And if you decide to take the ferry to the other side, the Lopikerwaard, which is just as beautiful, awaits there.
The choice is yours.
