โ โ โ โ โ Het wad een interessante rondleiding door het dudok gebouw, het raadhuis. Voor die tijd ongeveer 1930-1935 zeer modern en strak van stijl. Knap staaltje werk van dhr.Dudok. Zeer uitgedacht en ook met licht en lichtinval. Tijdens de rondleiding werden de details van het gebouw met veel passie door medewerkster verteld. Lampen en meubelair is ontwerp van Van Gipsen.
It was an interesting tour through the dudok building, the town hall. Before 1930-1935 very modern and sleek in style. Handsome piece of work by Mr. Dudok. Very thoughtful and also with light and light. During the tour, the details of the building were told with great passion by the employee. Lamps and furniture is designed by Van Gipsen.

โ โ โ โ โ Een van de mooiste gebouwen die ik ken: het Raadhuis van Hilversum van Dudok, met de flonkerende lichtgele baksteen, aan de rand van het centrum. Compleet met klassieke binnenplaats, interieur en ontwerp zijn tot in detail door Dudok ontworpen (tot en met de voorzittershamer van het College van B&W!). De ruimte met de vijver om het complex heen maakt onderdeel uit van het geheel.
One of the most beautiful buildings I know: the Hilversum van Dudok Town Hall, with its twinkling light yellow brick, on the edge of the center. Complete with classic courtyard, interior and design have been designed in detail by Dudok (up to and including the gavel of the College of B&W!) The space with the pond around the complex is part of the whole.

โ โ โ โ โ We moved to Hilversum 1,5 years ago. The service at the city hall has always been excellent: fast, efficient and helpful. Today we even used the wassap option and they were fantastic and helped us with our needs. After living abroad across many countries and our second destination in the Netherlands Iโd say this is by far the best city hall team I ever dealt with.
Good job and another reason to love our life in Hilversum

โ โ โ โ โ Love the exterior of this building by the architect Dudok, but the interiors are absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is incredible everywhere you look.
It is well worth taking the guided tour (1.30pm Thursday to Sunday) as this gives you a good look round with a knowledgeable guide (we got a guide booklet in English as the tour is in Dutch) and the opportunity to go climb to the top of the tower (over 200 steps). The view from the top is amazing, especially with the autumnal colour at the end of October.
