β β β β β When I first arrived at this restaurant I was sceptical about the food but the moment our dishes were served I was sold.
The most delicious lamb meat with a tasty salad and baked potatoes... It was divine.
And I'm not talking about the dessert. The most delicious chocolate pie of Mama sia with a scoop of vanilla ice... I would kill for a piece of this dessert

β β β β β Whether you are eating at Olijfboom or going there to pick up an order the atmosphere is enchanting. Warm and polite staff that create amazing dishes and offer professional service. You cannot go wrong with any of their pita options - great value for money! They also offer Greeks products for sale in shop. Always a delight to visit :-)

β β β β β In my first attempt to try this restaurant I didn't have a good experience. I decided to try again and I'm glad I did it. The food was great and not too expensive, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. 5 stars now.

β β β β β This is just a cool Greek place in Groningen. The food was rustic and great. Expect moussaka and other golden oldies. They do them well.

β β β β β No taverna in the Netherlands nails the Greek cuisine better than this place does. Even better than many tavernas in Greece itself. I often recommend family and friends to pay a visit here. The menu is diverse and not limited to stereotypical Greek dishes. Staff is very friendly and flexible as well.
The only recommendation I would have is to expand the small market a little. It would be great to be able to find more Greek products here, as Nazar supermarket has stopped selling them.

For lunch there are quite limited options (various pitas, salad, soup) but all was fresh and good quality :)
- The waiting time was a bit long.

β β β β β Very good service. They are always very attentive and efficient. The food is simply just great!! Good portion to share. 4-5 dishes for two people is ideal. Big plus is the affordable prices! ??? Totally recommend if you want some rustic Greek food in Groningen ??
