★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Laurens is een creatieve duizendpoot. Naast een zeer capabele animator met oog voor zowel beeld als verhaal is hij ook als conceptdenker zeer bedreven. Laurens neemt nooit genoegen met de voor de hand liggende oplossingen en durft altijd dieper te graven dan de directe vraag van de klant, wat het resultaat altijd ten goede komt. Voor de dingen die hij zelf niet kan heeft hij een club toegewijde creatieve specialisten waarmee hij intensief mee samenwerkt. Een club waar ik (als illustrator) al jaren tot groot genoegen toe behoor, want het is uiterst prettig samenwerken met Laurens.
 Laurens is a creative centipede. In addition to being a very capable animator with an eye for both image and story, he is also highly skilled as a concept thinker. Laurens is never satisfied with the obvious solutions and always dares to dig deeper than the direct demand of the customer, which always benefits the result. For the things he cannot do himself, he has a group of dedicated creative specialists with whom he works intensively. A club that I (as an illustrator) have enjoyed for years, because it is very pleasant to work with Laurens.
