★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtige natuur. Heel fijn om te wandelen. Er is weinig om te fietsen, er is een lang fietspad. Op de wandelpaden mag je niet fietsen.
 Beautiful nature. Very nice for walking. There is little for cycling, there is a long cycle path. You are not allowed to cycle on the hiking trails.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tiengemeten is werkelijk práchtig. We hebben via Natuurmonumenten een huifkartocht over het eiland gedaan. Voor zowel jong als oud een aanrader. De gids wist van alles te vertellen over de geschiedenis van het eiland, maar ook over de natuur in het gebied. Erg leuk.
Tiengemeten is really beautiful. We did a covered wagon trip through Natuurmonumenten on the island. A must for both young and old. The guide was able to tell everything about the history of the island, but also about the nature in the area. Very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi eiland met veel natuur. De moeite waard om te bezoeken en te wandelen. Hele vriendelijke schipper op de pont. Pont kost 6 euro retour voor een volwassene als je het ter plekke koopt (online een euro goedkoper). Pont gaat ieder heel uur heen, in de winter tot 17 uur. 10 min later gaat pont terug (dus laatste om 17.10). Je kan er door weiland lopen met loslopende beesten.
Beautiful island with a lot of nature. Worth to visit and walk. Very friendly skipper on the ferry. Pont costs 6 euros return for an adult if you buy it on the spot (one euro cheaper online). Pont departs every hour on the hour, in winter until 5 pm. 10 min later the ferry goes back (so last one at 17.10). You can walk through meadows with stray animals.
